Sounds like the contacts on the kep fob battery are corroded, when you press the button on the fob are you seeing the led light light up? I would still open it up and use rubbing alcohol on all the contact points and I would bend the tabs slightly to increase the pressure on the battery. Or maybe you bought a bad battery make sure its a good quality size CR1632

You should have two key fobs. Does the other work? Disconnect the battery for 60 min and try again. So you can go into accessory mode but the starter won't crank?
Place the fob as close to the start button as possible to troubleshoot.

Probably another 200$ to program it, or you need the Techstream setup.

Do you have the old batteries from the fob? You said you changed them.

You can try walmart or a dollar tree, for the battery, it can't hurt. It is quite strange. Jumpstarting a car could cause damaging spikes, not common, but who knows.

I just recently changed the battery in both my car and the key fob and now the alarm will not shut off the led light on fob is blinking so the battery is working and when the gps says it’s initializing but won’t start if anyone has any ideas before I have to get it towed to Lexus it would be appreciated!!!

Have you checked if the terminals connecting to the batt is clean so it gets good connection? Have you tried unlocking and relocking on the fob? Do you have any aftermarket remote starter?

Also, were all your doors, hood and everything closed after connecting the battery, when you tried to press unlock( to disable the alarm) ?
