Default 2006 aftermarket intakes?

Hey everyone, new to the Lexus world. Been in the game for about a yr now. But upon researching, intakes such as k&n, injen, hps, etc only were made up to 2005 then they stopped for 06-07. I literally cannot find any intakes besides k&n filters. Now I know 05 and 06 both have the 3uz Fe motor 4.3 v8. Exactly the same design as well but would an 05 fit an 06? Alot say no. Wondering if this true. If so is it due to clearance issue? Mad sensor too short to reach designated input? Etc... I know the bodies of 05-06 are different, and wondering if the intakes are actually designed a tad different due to that. Thanks for the help. I really appreciate it. Hope y'all have a great day

Injen intake from old gs430/sc430 will fit on 2006 gs430. I've installed it in the past and few members here as well.

Awesome I really appreciate it. Anything I need to know with any special fabs or etc with intake from an 05 gs430 injen intake? Maybe add some extra maf wire, or maybe pipe bracket to hold in place? Thank you again for your help!

And it also seems injen makes only 01-03 and that's the yr y'all purchased and did not have any problems?

I didn't have any problem. I took it off cuz it didn't do anything really. Maaayybee helped me 1-2mpg. All it did just that "vrroomm vrroomm" sound, especially cold start sound, a music on our ears

All gs430/sc430 injen intake doesn't have any specific year, just get one and try it. Just do it

Nice! Ya I'm just trying to dress up alil (atm). Most aftermarket intakes actually decrease hp or maybe gain so minimal u can't even feel it. But, to bore out heads and intake manifold, which I'll be doing soon, and I've upgraded exhaust to true dual with x pipe, resonators and magnaflow mufflers, and a proper tune. All that combined I'm hoping to set in at least 25 to 35 hp additional minimum. Hopefully lol but we shall see. I've been in big with vq, sr20det, and rb26 motors by Nissan, f, h, b, j, and k series with Honda, ej motors with subies but never in my life the 3uz Fe lol and I've done alot of research and tinkering with these motors. But man it's really minimum of after market items. Seems best thing for these cars are FI but for that price of 10k for supercharge I said get outta here.... 10k?? Na I'm good. So n/a it is lol but if y'all know of anything else that I can upgrade or any aftermarket links, please let me know. I would greatly appreciate it

A staggered setup is the way to go. U can always switch them out when u get tired. I'm always keeping an eye on the wheel classified section because you never know what u may come across.
