Default Anyone have issues with Xenondepot bulbs?

SO I bought my GS350 in august of last year. The passenger side headlight kept going out and I'd have to turn the lights off and back on.

Then I came across this thread:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...mp-issues.html

Cool either buy OEM lights OR Xenondepot bulbs, which seem to have a great reputation. So I paid $119 for the D4S HIDs with the 5000K color.

Awesome problem solved. I went 12 months with no issues. At month 12 the passenger side light started doing the same thing it was before. Then at 13 months..... They're both going out intermittently. The things that really sucks is they only have a 12 month warranty.

Has anyone else had issues with these bulbs?

My uncle's put 2-3 years on his bulbs with no problems. He abuses his lighting system too.

He runs it 24/7 day or night, rain or shine. As long as he is driving, they are on.

*knock on wood*

I would contact them, even though you are RIGHT out of the warranty period. The folks there are good people .

GL! I'll FWD them this thread so they can chime in.

I believe I have been talking to you regarding this through PM as well. I know you mentioned you had tested your ballast by using your old HID bulb and didn't find any issues there. Unfortunately, I can't explain why both bulbs have failed on you prematurely but we've had the same bulbs used by other members/customers for multiple years without any issues.

Our warranty on the XenonDepot D4S HID bulbs has always been one year. Having said, if you would like to get the same bulbs or another brand like Philips or Osram I can work with you on the pricing.
