Hi I've noticed that my display over shadows some options on my screen and I'm wondering if it's normal.
The same issue happens when I'm using the handsfree phone. All the numbers are blacked out and I can't dial. Then after a moment it comes back to normal....
And for your information if it matters for my questions my navigation firmware is v11.1 and my dealer just told me that the v17.1 is the next update.

Were you driving when the number and some options are grayed out? If so, that's a safety features on all Lexus. You can't key in a phone number from the screen when driving and you can use certain function when driving.

 

If that's the case you're right I haven't noticed but I think most of the time the car is in movement so I guess it makes sense that this type of mesure is taken to insure safety.
