Default Headlight assembly w/ broken part

This may be a stupid question but I recently purchased a set of reconditioned headlights and upon arrival I noticed a part had broken off during the shipping process. I returned it and they sent me a replacement. The same thing occurred with the replacement as well. The company will no longer send me another replacement for reasons unknown. So my question is can I still safely install the headlight assembly with this broken piece? I've included pictures for referencing. Thank you for your response in advance.

The same thing happened to me, that part is super fragile. Its what align the headlight to the very rightmost (Driver Side) or leftmost (Passenger Side) where it meets the fender panel as well as the center of the bumper.

I mounted them with that broken and it held in place without problems, just make sure to put all the corresponding bolts.

For reference here is how my headlights look mounted (without that piece):

Thank you very much! In that case I'll have them installed. I was just worried there might be some issues with the installation without that piece. You've reassured me with the pictures and info you've provided. Thanks again. I appreciate it!
