Today some jerk hit my driver's side mirror (2010 GS350) when it was parked and didn't leave a note. I took it off the car and it looks like all I need to replace is the rear/inner side of the outer cover (see photo). The mechanism and the front side of the cover are fine.
Is there anyone out there who has a left over mirror that would have this piece intact? Mine is 1F2 silver, and I'm in the San Francisco bay area. I'd like to find one of these asap!
Ah, sorry to hear about this. Thankfully it was just the mirror, could've been a lot worse! Have you checked the salvage yards around you? If not, I'd definitely look there. Also, maybe try posting this in the Northern California Regional forum to see if anybody close by happens to have one. There's also a classifieds section you can poke around in. Best of luck!
Thanks for your reply. Best I could do at a local wrecking yard was the whole mirror assembly for $250. I did find on *******.com a part number for just the outer cover, $100 already painted. Hope that will work out well, I'll know in a few days when the part arrives.
