Default New pads for 2006 GS430

Thinking about replacing my OEM brake pads on my 2006 GS430 with a set of Akebono ACT ProAct Ultra Premium ceramic pads... The newer OEM pads have been on only 8K miles but I am thinking the Akebono ceramic pads may be easier on the new rotors... I have used Akebono pads before on other Lexus LS vehicles and they make less brake noise and seem easier on the rotors... What do you guys think?

Check this thread out if you haven't already. One of the members mentions the brand you're asking about.

I did see that thread and am leaning to changing out the pads to Akebono pads on my 06 GS430. Have used them on my LS and they have been great.

The Akebono pads has been great on my '06 GS300 and my '16 IS200t. Stopping power is about the same as OEM but way less brake dust.
