Default Amazon Brake Rotors and Pads. Good Deal?

Anyone ever buy their part from Amazon? Just wondering if this is a good deal for front and back rotors plus pads.

There are high quality aftermarket brands of rotors. EBC is probably the best brand in the non super expensive market. Other than that stick with OEM. Unless you want to guess when your rotors shatter

You don't need to go to the dealer for rotors. Amazon, Ebay or rockauto.com has what you need. Just make sure you get the ones with the corrosion protection around the hubs or they will rust pretty quickly. It won't interfer with performance they just look ugly. I went with the Centric rotors from rockauto front and back for a little over $200.

Don't risk it. They will be noisy, and won't work well after a short period of use.

You can get good rotors and pads from many sources. Just do your homework and make sure you order the correct parts... In addition, correctly installing them makes all the difference in the world. LOL...

I have Rotora slotted & drilled brake discs and EBC Red stuff. They work perfectly fine to me. The pads however, don't bite as well until I've driven for a while (my mistake for buying something made for hard driving).

Been 3+ years, no noise whatsoever.

Back when I was doing SCCA SOLO II with my FWD car, I looked for affordable drilled rotors. IIRC this was one of the threads I read on the topic http://aurorah.proboards.com/thread/23587
Brakes are one of those "I should spend the money" parts that shortcutting should be avoided.

+1 on the rotors but I've used the AKEBONO pads. No noise whatsoever and no vibrations. And to be frank, those who said to get dealership only parts needs to know that Toyota/Lexus outsource their stuff. ADVICS is OEM on some Lexus.

Anyone know the difference between the above (Canada spec) and the US specs ( front left: 125.44170 & front right: 125.44171)? Just curious.

Thanks
