Default Almost have it

Hey folks, long time no see...I got rid of my 93 ES300, bought an 01 ES300, now I'm trading that for an 06 GS430. I found an immaculate and super maintained one for a really good deal, bank stuff should be clearing this weekend, with luck I should have it by Monday or so.

This isn't the actual car, but it's the same color combo

Things I would like to do:

Tint (duh)
Axleback exhaust with quad tips. Love that sound...drool
mile lowering kit maybe a 1.5f 1" rear if such a thing exists.
I do like the stock wheels. I want a bluetooth streaming install, Grom makes one for a good price it seems. Hopefully someone has some exp with that....I'll have to look for a how-to maybe.

That's about it. Wish I could update the nav screen and not have that oldschool design with missing roads. lol I'll post pics of the actual car when I get it.

Congrats. That's a nice growl. I'm also looking for a similar exhaust set up for my 460.

Cleans up nice. Need to clay bar it though. That may come this weekend, but we have snow coming first. :/

Excellent purchase! I hope you enjoy it for the many miles to come. I wish I had black ... such a great, elegant-looking color for the GS.

So after having this for 3 weeks, I've already put about 1200 miles on it. Some observations:

LOVE the way it rides, it's quiet, arguably the quietest vehicle I've ever owned and this is my 3rd Lexus.
The interior is in such amazing shape considering the mileage. As to be expected, the leather surfaces are a bit stiff, but I'm going through a process to soften them up to get them back to being supple.
The car shifts and tracks perfect.
Nearly everything works, with the exception of the rear passenger window from the drivers door master switch assy. So I'll want to replace that. Oh and I can't seem to get the one touch open/close for the sunroof to work. Need to look into that a bit more.
Rear deck right speaker rattles, so I'm gonna replace that here next week.
Wheels have some decent curb rash, so I'm gonna replace w/18's I'm not a fan with how 19's ride.
Must. Get. Tint.
Thinking of upgrading the brakes, these rotors were replaced a couple years ago, but I'm thinking some EBC slotted would be more ideal.
I've seen a few 3g GS lowered, don't like it, so I won't be doing that.
I'm torn with getting an axle back exhaust. I LOVE how quiet it is when cruising, and that faint burble under load. I'd like a little more load growl, but don't want to lose the cruising quietness. Is that even plausible?
If I upgraded the subwoofer and kept the ML amp, would I see a notable improvement?
I'm sure I'll have more questions, but I kinda need to pace myself.

For the sunroof, did you lose the one-touch feature? If so, hold the "OPEN" button down until the moonroof opens all the way, and keep it depressed for 8-10 seconds. Then, hold the "CLOSE" button down until the moonroof closes, and keep it depressed for around the same time. That should restore the one-touch feature.

Tint is great! Looks good, and saves your interior from costly cracks and wear.
