Smile From Amsterdam with love....

Hi guys.

My name is Manuel and I live in Amsterdam for about 12 years.
I own a Lexus GS450h from 2008 and I LOVE that car. It's a wolf in sheep coat, like we say here in Holland.
The reason to choose the Lexus was the experience from the past with Toyota. My first car here was a Celica T18, from 1993. 270.xxx km and going strong like new. I miss that car.
The second one, and still in my possession, is a Toyota Supra Twin turbo. What a monster!!! My second love!!! Based on the technique of both cars and the reliability of them, being "old"cars in a super good condition, I promised myself to choose a Lexus as my next car (came from a Ford Mondeo....never ever..with all respect).
So, now I'm here, so happy as a kid with new toy riding my Lexus every day.

The first step is to search about water pump replacement for the car. i went to the dealer and they told me that the water pump have a little leakage and need soon to be replaced (€575). Since I like to the mechanics of my cars ( I'm also good in) I want to try to change the pump by myself. However, I always do research about changing something on the internet before I take action.
If someone knows a specific thread about this please let me know. I will start to scroll over the 500+ threads to see if I can find some information.
I found something about the GS300 but I don't know if it's applicable for the 450h.

So guys, nice to meet you.

Welcome, from my understanding it uses the same motor, but of course with a hybrid motor slapped in. The part number matches for both vehicles. Check out this DIY: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...with-pics.html
