Hello guys! Today I did several things to my GS.

1) Change the oil and oil filter
2) Change the sparks plugs previously had the Denso now switched to NGK DFH6B-11A
3) Since I took about the air box to install the plugs, Cleaned the airbox thoroughly, but missed changing the air filter which is really nasty BTW.

After I finished everything, I checked that everything was connected as before, turned on the engine and a lot of lights popped out, CHECK VSC, check that all the plugs were connected and there was one I left disconnected, I disconnected the battery and check all the plugs again and found I left one of the plugs disconnected, plugged it back on, connected the battery and the dash was with no issues, driving the car I noticed that the initial acceleration when you are 0 and suddenly press the gas pedal is not as fast as before it kind of hesitate a bit for a second and then kicks in, like if there wasn't enough air coming or something..

I used a torque wrench to tight the spark plugs to 13 lb-ft, was it enough? I cant find anywhere the correct torque to for the spark plugs for my 2007 gs 350, how much torque do you put on your spark plugs?

Could that be the problem, or should I drive a little bit more to confirm thats the issue and let the ECU learn again? I am new to the GS series, I used to have a 04 RX330

Did you disconnect battery and reconnect it to reset the ECU? Might give it a try before you tighten it anymore

Yes, I disconnected the battery after I left one plug disconnected by mistake, should I make it one more time?

Anyone have installed ngk plugs on a 3gs? If yes what torque specs ? ngk webpage have torque specs for aluminum cylinder and diameter of 14 mm at 18.9 ~ 21.6 lb-ft but the specs for this plugs have the thread diameter in inches: 0.551, converting it to mm is 13.9 mm, so torque should be around 20lb-ft??

Alright!! Today after work I took all the coils out and put 21 ft-lb of torque to each spark plug, disconnected the battery while I was doing all the work and changed the air filter to a brand new one, drove the car for 20 minutes and everything is now fixed! Now the car jumps like a scared cat from a complete stop I can even say that it feels a lot better than with the old denso plugs!

So if anyone face this problem in the future, if using NGK DFH6B-11A, apply 21 ft-lb of torque to each spark plug!
