Having trouble finding this information. I'd like to replace the smart key plastic shells for both my keys. They are worn, scratched and the Lexus emblem on the back of one has fallen off. The metal key also just rattle around inside the shell on one. Can't seem to find a place to buy JUST the shell (not the electronic transponder with the shell). Is it even possible to buy the shell by itself and not a brand new blank, full electronic key? NOT a cheap chinese remanufactured shell for 8 dollars. Plenty of those around. Want a couple of OEM Denso shells.

www.mylparts.com discount code CL5. they will cut the key to your VIN# and you can just place the brain from the old one into the new shell.

ahhh found the part number. thanks so much guys. yup looking like 80 bucks for a plastic shell. glad i know now!
