4GS Intake Pipe with sound Generator fits 3GS 350 perfectly !
Hi Folks, I am happy to report that the 4GS intake pipe fits the 3GS perfectly. I scored the full intake pipe off of Ebay for short money. It was from a crashed 2014 GS350 F Sport. Absolutely no modification needed. The engine cover goes on perfectly with no problems. Pics attached.
The parts number are in the link below

The verdict:
Same sound levels at low to mid throttle. A nice full throaty sound at high revs. Very additive!! Makes me think the car feels faster. I think the mod was worth it.
2nd update:
The computer seems to adjust to the intake. In the beginning the idle was a tiny bit higher because it was sucking in extra air I believe. Now it's settled. The throttle is definitely more responsive. I do believe I am getting a tiny bit more hp. Sounds wonderful in "Power" mode where it holds higher revs.

Thanks for this! I was wondering if anyone had decided to try. SO... the sound upgrade is worth it?

Definitely boost the coolness factor. Makes the V6 sound more meaner. Feels like the intake tube improved throttle response since it might be taking in more air. Then again it may be in my head. It's going to cause me to floor it more than usual just to hear the howl. I got all the parts for a little over 1/2 the price new so I thought it was worth it.

Here is a perfect Youtube video. I've watch this video many times and it was the main reason why I decided to do the mod. Play at 14:55. The driver floors it a couple times. It makes the exact same sound. Very additive ! The sound comes front the sound generate attached on the right side of the intake tube. It appear to suck in extra air thru a small opening at high revs. The acceleration does feel a tiny bit snappier. My gas mileage will be bad for a couple months flooring it so much

Here are all the part numbers to build the whole unit. You probably don't need to pay for the hose clamps since you can use the ones you have. That is the only part that is interchangeable.

Correct, you can use the ones you have but I'm not sure if those clamp part numbers are for the Creator intake unit. If you look closely you will see it held on by 2 small clamps. Honest any standard clamp from a parts store will do.

Does not fit GS450h. The intake tube diameter is different in the gs450h. Yes I tried it.
I will try with a intake tube coupler as the tube was a tad short and wider than the 450h airbox. Upon inspection it looks like the 450h has a straighter intake tube vs the kinked 350 tube. Not only will I try and fit the 350 intake tube to the car, but I will also try and simply connect the sound creator to the stock 450h tube. It looks like I need a 2 inch to 1.5 inch coupler/reducer to make it fit. Will update this post.
Update: Installed with an intake coupler. I orderd a 3.5 inch reducer to 3 inch and it fit perfectly. Sounds the same at low revs, but opens up and sounds similar to the gs350 f-sport video in a post above. I feel like I am losing a little throttle response, and suppose this is due to the shape of the intake tube. (gs450h was straighter) I will be trying to modify the sound creator on the stock 450h intake tube next. I have ordered a 135 degree 2 inch to 1.5 inch intake coupler to attach the sound creator. Stay tuned...
It's been awhile with this intake tube and it will stay on the car.
