Don't be disappointed if you don't get an answer to that question, since I doubt anyone outside of Lexus really knows. It could be something obvious, like different fan blade geometries or different fastener positions. On the other hand, it could be something very subtle – could be that they have different current requirements, or the pin layouts are different, or the fan motors have different grades of copper for the fan motor windings

In any case, to the best of my knowledge, Lexus doesn't usually publish this sort of info.
