Driver ballast went out.

I see many ballasts for sale around for 50-80 dollars labeled as genuine lexus/toyota "OEM Denso Koito". Surely these are re-manufactored cheap, non oem ballasts? Not genuine Denso? Where should I purchase a quality ballast that I can trust will be an OEM unit? Or are these ballasts labeled as oem actually oem, just not at stupid dealer pricing?

Thoughts?

why would you buy oem ballast again if you see that one already quit on you.
I just ordered from ebay one and put them in ,so far very happy for about $35.00.
Check one of my threads regarding this .

I should have mentioned in the original post, the ballast currently installed is a cheap after-market unit that had been replaced at some point. When i went to replace bulbs the ignitor was plastic.

Anything will probably be better than what I have now. Just wanted input.

I don't know if this helps but I waited a long time to solve my HID problem on 2006 GS300.

But recently I went ahead and got some Koito 5500k bulbs and bought these remanufactured ballasts since they're in LV and very close to Socal since I needed them quick. Good reviews at least.

I barely put them on so I can't attest to if they're good or not but they turned on and the bulb color is decent, gives the car a more updated look.
