2008 GS350 - Volume ****

Hi All!

first of all, I want to say that I have owned Alexis for 10 years and this site has been the primary reason for owning one. You can get an answer to any issue that you have and you guys are outstanding.

My car now has 170,000 miles on it and it still runs like it is brand-new, so I'm kind of torn on whether or not I should get rid of it or keep it. The problem I'm running into is a lot of smaller things are starting to break on the car. Which brings me to the forum.. my volume **** stopped working out of nowhere. It does work on the steering wheel but not on the actual **** itself. Does anybody know how I can try and get this working?

I had same issue - then it went away - try to quickly move **** up and down (high - low volume) and see if that works.

It might be a broken solder connection on the encoder for the volume ****. Might just need a simple reflow.

Thanks for the info but I am somewhat of a dummy and I have no idea what you mean by a "simple reflow" lol but thank you for the reply and trying to help out!
