I have 07 gs 450h that had intermitent headlight shutoff on passenger side. I replaced both headlights with aftermarket bulbs. I then noticed that the intermitent shutoff issue occured on driverside. I replaced both bulbs again assuming one was bad. The intermitent shutoff issue then occured on passengerside again. This is baffling. Has anyone else had this occur? Does anyone have any suggestions. I have gone thru 4 bulbs.

 

What bulbs are you using? I've read that sometimes inferior bulbs will cut out. I would put back the OEM bulb that was good and see if it goes out. I would suggest some Phillips bulbs.
Might be a ballast issue, but its rare that they are failing at the same time.
