Default RE: Replacement Parts/advice

I've decided to replace all four struts and springs with factory OE (no coilovers).. That said, I would like some advice on other replacement parts such as upper strut plate, insulator(s) ect.. Has anyone had a need to replace these associated parts when replacing the strut? Would just replacing the strut and spring be adequate?

Thanks much..

Replace all bushings front and rear. If you dont want to spend that much you can fix the main fail bushings. Front lower control arm rear main bushing, ball joints, rear trail arm, rear toe arms, rear lower control arms, rear chamber arms.

There's really no need for all that, unless something is loose or worn...but it's probably not.
If your just doing OE, not much you'll need to do. Just inspect the strut mounts and bushings, if they're not cracked or worn looking, there is no need to replace. Just check the alignment afterwards. If you're lowering it that's a whole different story

Depends on mileage and where you live, if you live in an area with smooth roads then no. If you live somewhere with lots of potholes then yes replacing majority of the bushings is better then chewing up a set of expensive tires.

On my case I destroyed a set of 20's DWS's, due to worn bushings. My bushings all apeared to be good even had a few shops fully inspect and test them. The alignment was also good, but I still had uneven tread that got worse over time.
