hey guys
i just bought a 2007 gs350 and have some issues with the trunk.
it wont pop open from the remote or the button inside. it opens with the keys ( ofcourse i mean thats mechanical)
i thought the problem was with the trunk 'actuator' and also asked from a garage they told me the same. But just to confirm it it went to the dealer and they said the "junction box" needs to b replaced which they are willing to do so at a mere cost of 1750 bucks!!!!!!
i tried this junction box at autozone and napa auto parts and O riellis theres no such thing
the napa guy told me there are a lot of junction boxes showing up all costing not more than 100 bucks
now m confused wat exactly is the problem and wat to do
pls help me guys ...i am newbeee to the lexus world

 

Did you check the button inside the glove box? It might have been pushed by mistake.

 

yes i myself checked it and the guy from dealership checked it as well
it wont open
