False. It does not use transmission fluid. It uses gear oil.

Sorry. Thought they were talking about the front diff, not transfer case.

I just purchased a 3/8 drive stubby Rachel from O'Reilly that might do the trick, I will update later. Low profile rachets may work as well. The clearance is tight yes but a low profile or stubby should do the trick.

I was rushing for time but maybe with the other bolt out I have have been able to tighten the fill bolt better. Bottom drain bolt got stripped 😥 but I was able to top off fluid.
