Default Anyone install VaisTech ULM-051 ?

Hey guys I have a 2007 GS350 With Nav and Mark Levinson. I tried to install the Nav/DVD movie override kit and did not have any luck with it. I will probably return it soon. I connected the GPS plug, 26pin plug and 20 pin plug to the unit and did not have any luck. I followed the phone hang up button commands in the instructions it was unresponsive. I changed the screen option so it doesn't flip back to the Nav map screen. I figured that would make it work but apparently not.
Did I forget to do something or is the unit possibly defective? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

No Luck with it. The override commands only worked once and then it seemed like the unit was confusing the whole Lexus system. It may have been defective. Returning it

I installed mine today in a GS450h with ML and NAV. It appears to be working with one issue. When I do the SW command to enable the DVD player, the sound stops and the picture displays. When I cancel it, the sound comes back on and the video turns off. If I stop and put the car in park and apply the parking break then the DVD works as expected. Otherwise, the SW command to bypass NAV and phone lockout works fine. The actual install was fairly easy after watching a few youtube videos and other instructions. The wiring was actually fairly straight forward but I just unplugged all the plugs to remove the head unit. I would recommend taking a couple pictures before disconnecting as a couple of the plugs will fit more than one hole.

Luckily I tested the unit before putting the car back together. The NAV, Menu, Destination buttons were completely unresponsive. The large plug on the ULM-051 unit had a few bent pins so it didn't fully engage with the factory wiring. It was easy to straighten and reconnect. Then test, then reassemble.

I was not a fan of the multi button click controls to turn it on and off. I had the same problem as you with the DVD override which was the main feature I wanted. The plugs also gave me a hard time as they did not fit perfectly. I had to lightly file the small phone jack size plug to make it fit. I gave up and returned it.

I went with Beatsonic Dvd Override kit. I have the on/off switch hidden inside the center console. Works perfectly and installs with no modification needed except to carve a small hole at the top of the center console compartment to run the wire thru the center console. Drama free..
