Default Gs460 with 140k?

I'm wondering how reliable a GS460 with 140k on it would be?
Here is the listing. Do you think this is a good deal?
I'm also looking at a mint 06 gs430 but it has tan interior and I much prefer the black and also newer nav, the 430 has 108k and is 13.5k which would you take?

I know the 4.3 is a great engine, I'm just nervous of buying a newer Lexus with that kind of mileage because there's a lot more to go wrong and the 460s are still youngish so you don't see many with very high mileage yet.

i would worry about electronics more than the drivetrain itself

I looked at the service history on the Lexus app and it was brought in to the dealer every 3000 miles it's whole life, really extensive history. Only thing I'm wondering is how the transmission hold up because the fluid I don't believe has been changed, I know it's supposed to have "lifetime" fluid but I'm wondering if I bought it whether I should change it.

I've purchased my 430 @ 104k (now 126k), thought to change trans fluid after purchase since it never had one ever. Worth it imo. Just one less to stress about you know? Is it necessary? Just depends on how you wanna baby her. I'd pick the less-mileage one in my opinion. Goodluck.

460 with that kind of mileage should be just fine. If the maintenance was all done like you said, and you can get a killer deal, then go for it.

Gonna test drive it today, do you think I should change the transmission fluid at 140k if it's never been done? It has a sealed transmission so the fluid lasts longer than older cars right?

I'd still do it. My 460 only has 30K, but I plan on doing it around 50K. Maybe just a drain and fill.

Seemed like the traction control came on every corner but it was wet and raining, also seemed to shift not as smooth as my 2GS, hard for me to tell if it's normal or not because I haven't driven another one to compare to. Definately was very fast though, idled perfect everything worked and heard no rattles. Probably will get it next week, but will test drive the 06 GS430 to compare as that had 30k less on it

Also a question, it had a low tire warning with the Orange light on the left side but also had a red exclamation point on the right side, can anyone tell me if that's just for the tire pressure too or for something more serious?

It won't shift as smooth as the 2GS, I can guarantee you that. They're firmer on the 460.

That said, I wouldn't hesitate to buy one with 140k if all of the maintenance records are there like you said and if the price was right.

That exclamation point will come on whenever there's something wrong with any of the systems. Just fill up the tires and they'll both turn off.

Thanks a lot for the help man, I feel a lot more comfortable with the purchase, hopefully I'll be joining the forum very shortly. Loved the power compared to my GS300.
