Default Part identification

Can someone please help me identify this piece. My engine had a slight rattle, after driving a few blocks, I believe this part fell out of my vehicle. After it fell out the rattling noise stopped.

I will upload more photos shortly.

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried pulling the CEL code?

Edit: was thinking the CEL was in conjunction with the piece. From the looks of it it is a motor mount or looks like the collar from your lower control arm (if its similar with the one i had on my ls430).

Going over to Autozone today. But I still don't know where this piece goes.

The error code was for the air intake so that's fixed but I still can't identify that part

If the picture posted is any indication, I'd say that does indeed look like a piece from the motor mount.

Thanks othic, if it is a part of the motor mount, would that cause the rattling prior to it falling off? And how serious of an issue with that be?

Maybe it fell off and was banging around on the subframe. Not sure, Ive never seen or heard of that before. It might not even be from the mount. I just thought it looks like that piece. I was just taking a guess. What was the code that you got?

jack up the car and check the motor mounts.

it can be a serious issue if any of the bolts are broken.

let us know if it is not the mount.
