Default Need Help, Steering wheel pulsates to the left

Hi, guys. I bought a 2007 GS350 April of this year and I love the car. Been wanting one since it came out and I was fortunate to find one with only 52k miles. When I purchased the car, it had 20" TSW wheels. I have no idea how long it's been on there. Onto my problem, it just started a few days ago, at crawling speed, my steering wheel pulsates to the left. The faster I go, the less it will pulsate but it will pull to the left. The wheels aren't bent, tires are almost brand new, no bubbles nor knots. The balance on the wheels aren't off. I read somewhere the wheel bearing could cause the steering wheel to pulsate but I don't hear the hum nor grinding noise associated with bad wheel bearing. Anyone has any ideas?? I really don't want to take it to a stealership. Any help is appreciated.

It does sound like a balancing issue. If it's pulling you more than likely need a wheel alignment.

Easy with the stealership! I work at one lol. A bearing wouldn't cause a pulsation. I would try cross rotating the front tires to see if the pull goes to the other side or goes away. If it does, its one or both of the tires. That's usually the first step I take in diagnosing a pulling concern. One of the belts in the tire may have broken. Its fairly common especially with really cheap tires.

Don't forget to make sure that the tires are bi-directional.

Also, like I said, make sure your hub ring adaptors are still on those front wheels. That may cause your wobbling up to a certain speed. However mine's gets worse as I go faster, not at a certain speed and stops.

Thank you guys with all the replies, as it turns out, the tread was separated from the tire. I took the wheel off and rolled it around. Sure enough, it was wobbling. Contacted Falken and they are replacing the tire free of charge. Othic, I work at a dealership, too so i know how the service department works lol. No offense to anyone that works at a dealership. Here is a pic of my car when I bought it. No, I do not like the front grill but I bought the car as my DD so not going to spend any money into it. Been driving S2000 as DD for the last 10 years. Want something more comfortable. Still have the S2000.
