I recently had my windshield repaired and since the repair my wipers make a full rotation at each start up. I am starting to notice that the blades are getting beaten up. Any idea how I can stop this automatic rotation overtime I start the car?

Is the wiper stalk is set in the automatic position? My guess is the rain sensor wasn't perfectly clean when installed on the new glass. Have you talked to the windshield installer? More info would be helpful, such as what brand of glass and the installation company name. Some have stayed similar issues. You can also do a forum search for similar issues.
