Hello guys, I had a thread on this forum, "How much should I pay?" months ago, so finally ended up getting the GS for $8500! My dad went to look at it and pay for it yesterday when he just sat in it and started it... Its still with the guy as he is a mechanic and is going to take care of a few maintenance things for us before we pick it up later today! Can't wait to check it out and drive it! Just for fun, what should I expect the ride to be like? Are they fast and fun?

This will be our second luxury car after the Merc E430 Sport.

Sure I will post some pics! My dad should get the thing washed before he brings it home! Its a bit gloomy here in LA since the past couple of days...Though see my last thread, there are a couple pics of that car when it was dirty lol

Also, will the bluetooth of the GS work with Galaxy Note 2/Iphone 5?

2006, 3GS as it is called...

 

my Bluetooth's worked with all my phones from the G1, galaxy s2, galaxy s3, note 2 note 3 and I've tested on an iphone 4 and 5

 

great! My mom will be the regular driver of it and she has a Note 2 so yeah, it will be a cool feature, since the car has a ton of gizmos, I would have to sit with the owner's manual for a while to get to know everything.

 

Expect that V8 to pin you in your seat when you floor it! The car is an all around great car!

 

I do expect that pin when I floor it! I do have an E430 which too is a 4.3l V8 279 HP but the GS has 300 and weights about the same so yeah, now I want to see how much better it pins me back in my seat than the Merc lol Should get it later in the evening! Can't wait! Will keep you guys posted and will take some pics in the morning tomorrow.
