Default Will these work ????

looking for some help with a set of 225/35/20 I can buy for $500.00 they were on a 2008 ES 350 mine is a 2007 GS awd. First will they fit over the caliper ? and second am I crazy to put 20s on with a 225 on my daily driver ? I don't know the offset etc because the guy I'm getting them from bought the car with the wheels on it ...Tires are new and wheels are in great shape. Thank you for any help I did a search with no luck as to fitment. I have to drive 3 hours so hoping to get an answer before the travel .

They might fit depending on the offset of the wheels. No that's not bad, but I would prefer a wider tire if I had a choice.

depends on offsets and disk type. What brand tires are they? I ask because can be louder or not as good as what you are used to for a daily driver.

We need to know offsets otherwise no one will be able to tell you if they will clear. 225 on a 20 inch should be fine, but then again why is the wheel so narrow? I would assume at least 8" which requires 245. Closer inspection says he was going for the stretch look.

Personally, I wouldn't bother. Not a fan of the tire brand nor style of rim.

Well guys one wheel is cracked and they are also 9 inches wide so not looking good . I looked the wheel up to replace the cracked one and the guy at tire rack they are 5x115.

For reference, the 2008 es350 is 5x114.3 last I checked.

Your tire rack guy is wrong.

Why would you look for 5x115? Your car accepts 5x114.3

1. Don't buy 5x115, buy 5x114.3.
2. Don't buy cracked wheels.
3. 225/35 is not that bad, it actually has more sidewall than 245/30. I personally run these on my fronts(8.5").

I would love to find a set of 430 wheels so that's my next search. Thanks again .
