Thought Id share my short project today. Im replacing the cats with Megan Racing stainless steel resonators. I already have a Tanebae catback and invidia midpipe. I wanted to give the car a more distinctive V8 sound. Coming from having a bunch of Mustangs, my current setup just isnt doing it for me lol. These are made for the SC430 but the part number for the GS430 and SC430 cats are the same so Im pretty sure theyll work. Ill update with more pictures when Im done.

Heres the video. Sorry its not the best quality. Ill see if I can get a better one soon. Its not edited either. And apparently I have a rattle in the back.. ignore that lol

I'm close to hit the "buy" button for the invidia mid. Thanks for sharing info on the sc430 cats, didnt know that some are interchangeable. I learn something new everyday, post up "drive-by" videos cause im interested to do the same.

Any updates? did you get any CEL codes. I've heard some of the SC430 guys getting cat efficiency codes and needing o2 simulators.

Im very curious. I just recently installed a invidia midpipe on my 430 and I love the sound. So make a video so I can hear this.

Uploading a video to YouTube right now. I have one of the first gopros so the sound quality isn't that great.
I installed 2 90 degree O2 spacers to get rid of the CEL. I installed them 2 days ago but so far the light hasn't come back on. Here's a link to the ones I bought on eBay

that's awesome! thanks for the info! Cant wait to see what that V8 sounds like! im due for my smog this month so i might pull the trigger and buy a set after i smog it since i wont have to worry for a test for another 2 yrs.
