Just bought this 11 gs350 and car is great except that the reverse camera does not activate when the car is put in reverse. The side mirrors tilt down and the rear shade will lower when put in reverse but the screen just stays on the navigation screen no flicker or black screen.. What could be the problem?

 

Uh, are you positive your GS came equipped with a reverse camera? There should be a little black "box" to the right of your license plate.

 

if you have navigation you have the back up camera option...

 

I can see the camera on the trunk lid and I do have navi. I also just realized that the navi does not talk. All the prompts to turn pop up on the screen but she does not talk at all....

 

Navi does talk, your voice volume setting must be on off. You can turn it on in the menu.

 

I checked that. The volume is almost all the way up in settings..

 

If it was me....id take it back to where I got it from...

 

Did you do anything to the nav or add something to it. If not than maybe need to pull nav out could be a loose connection if not than take to dealer.
