Default Oil Filter ?'s

I'm new to Lexus and I'm about to order a bunch of oil filters and I was trying to do some research and I'm getting plenty of mixed reviews! Which of these should I use...

2010 GS450H

Toyota Genuine Parts 04152-YZZA3 Oil Filter
Wix 57173 Oil Filter
Purolator L25609 Classic Oil Filter
K&N PS-7023 Pro-Series Oil Filter

People are saying that Purolator is the way to go because they created filters but then others say to only use OEM BUT they are made in Taiwan and not Japan or something???

HELP!!! Which one of these is the best to buy? The difference is like a few bucks, so money is no object

I always install the Toyota filters. Can't go wrong with that. If you went to the dealership, that's what they will install anyways, just at a higher price.

I buy the Toyota Filter, BUT purchase it at a local Toyota dealer vs. the Lexus dealer. Same filter, $3 less expensive.

K&N!
All the way!

If you have the air filler and trust that why not the oil filter?

There was study done on oil filters a while back and I recall both Honda and Toyota's OEMs filters achieved very high scores (these were full filters not simply elements). The filters tested were cut open and inspected after 7000 miles. Some filters had warped on the inside allowing oil to pass around instead of through the filter. Others had clogging issues. The OEMs had no such issues. They also found that the element inside Honda was one of the thickest. FWIW

I use to buy the higher price Fram and puralator filters for my Toyotas and Lex. After reading that study, I now only buy Toyota. And I buy KnN for the Porsche
