hope it works out. i bought my 07 gs350 used, but wife suggested a warranty which i never buy. glad i did because the alternator went out at about 80k, only had to pay $100 deductible. the battery was even under two year warranty and i got it replace last week.

It is all working out. At 120K my GS is tired, so I'm going to retire it. If Lexus would have stepped up, I'd be driving a brand new LS 460 F Sport right now, however, they did not.

Thus, my tesla model s should be here next week.

This has been a very fun community to be part of and share stories/insights about our cars. Thanks to everyone and good luck!

Thats a downgrade if you ask me, I wouldnt touch a tesla... but reading this, I am definitely concerned about looking at newer lexus...... What was the cause of the oil consumption?? Was it the valve spring recall thing?

In all honesty, I loved the Model S, up until I sat in one.... Felt really cheap The salesman was like "well, how do you like it?!" and I responded with "I don't.... at all...." My girlfriend had to do major damage control with all the awkward silence after, haha. Hope he enjoys his though! They look badass.
