I've noticed intermittently (but seems to getting more frequent) a rubbing noise from the front end at speeds below 10mph. It seems to only happen only after reversing. The noise is on a rotation. Almost sounds like putting a baseball card on the spokes of your bike. As you pick up speed the noise goes away & does not occur for the remainder of the trip. Spunds like its coming from the left wheel well. Any ideas? Thanks

 

Have you taken a look? Something could be in the tire .

 

I wonder if the TPMS fell out. It only happens at low speeds, so if something is in the tire, he would stick to the outer rim at higher speeds.

 

Sounds like the inner fender well is loose and your tire is rubbing it maybe. Have you checked?

 

Sounds like a knocking noise. I think its from the wheel well, but could be wrong.

 

Had the tire checked. No issues.

 

Check the inner plastic fender trim the plastic around the tire. Look for rub marks

Do you have oversized tires and aftermarket wheels?

Does the noise happen when driving straight? Have you had the brake pads checks to see if there ok

 

Stock Tires. No rub marks. Only happens when going straight under 10mph. And if it does happen faster than 10mph, I cant hear it.

Had brakes & rotors but on about 4 months ago. Althought I don't hear this noise when braking.

 

If the noise goes away once you apply the brakes then that sounds like its coming from your front brakes. Sounds like maybe it is the disc front brake shield rubbing the rotor. When they installed the front brakes they may have tweaked it on accident

 

The noise goes away without using the brakes. Usually goes away after about 15 seconds after starting. Im starting to think its not from the wheel. Happens after cold starts.

 

I recently had the engine job done. I wonder if it could be anything related to that. Pistons?

 

Is it a chirping sound? If so that could be the belt tensioner pulley

 

Nah, it doesn't sound like that. I took it to the dealer see what they come up with. Only happens under 10mph on cold starts. Last for about 10-15 seconds then goes away.
