2008 Lexus GS AWD... Can someone tell me what this is that popped out of my back fender? And what it will cost to replace?

It is the cutout for the tow hooks for your car. You should be able to get one from a junk yard or a new one to match your paint from a lexus dealer. Look here:

I'm not sure how you knocked that out at the car wash, I would go back to that same car wash because it's probably laying on the ground. Either way its defiantly the cover to a tow hook.

part number is 52162-30912. With Clublexus discount, it did come up like $53. The original page when you put part # in shows it for like $10.83. would be best if you called them and got the actual price with club lexus discount.

The ones for the earlier 3GS are $49.31 which seems absurd for a 2" square piece of plastic.

If it were me, I'd buy the one off Ebay for $12 and have a body shop paint it for $10

yeah the best place to buy a piece like that is Ebay or a dismantler. we have a bunch here in sac CA
