Angry Diver Window

I have an 07 GS 450H and I rolled the window down (driver side) and the window fell down into the door. Does anyone have any suggestions on fixing this?

yes..I would at least take the interior door panel off to see what the damage is. It may be something very simple (bolt came loose, etc.). If not, and the window regulator is broken beyond fixing then you may be able to get away with the mickey mouse method from this post.

DISCLAIMER: this is done on a 1st gen gs300. I do not own a GS450H.

Considering that your vehicle still relatively new/recent, instead of using a screw into the block of wood, I would try to see if I could use zip ties instead until you can replace/fix the broken part.

hope this helps

Remove the door panel and take a picture, so us members can help.

It's pretty simple, 2 bolts(pull off the cover where your interior door handle is) (pull out the light under the door's armrest, the little LED light, and unscrew the bolt in there) and pull the door out. Be careful to disconnect everything (NOT pulling on the wires, but pulling on the connectors, otherwise you're in for a heap of trouble if you broke connections).

Get back to us! I have a strong feeling your window track just slipped, it's happened to me before on my Honda, its what I get for being dumb and leaving something in the way of the window.
