Hi guys can anyone tell me if the Aussie version/sold of the GS 300
Has the ability to have a the Nav DvD unit play normal DVDs

I read somewhere that US versions with ML units were capable of doing this

I believe you got this wrong.... I think the DVD plays in the DVD 6-DVD deck.

Navigation DVD slot is for the navigation disc ONLY.

 

Oh OK but this still stands as I think versions sold in Australia or Singapore only play CDs not DVDs
