we are having a pretty $#!tty winter and tons of snow and ice, after I am done shoveling the driveway is about when I start getting dumb ideas...
So in light of my newly acquired GS350 AWD, how dumb is it to do doughnuts in that AWD on the snow/ice. I see the subaru guys crying about all sorts of damage to their power trains, I am wondering if the slight rear bias on the GS makes it a bit more fun friendly.
Aside from obvious dumbness, safety concerns, hitting curbs.... is there any actual real harm with regard to spinning around in the GS (on snow covered road, not pavement)
You are causing strain to your transmission, your rear diff, and your transfer case..... But hey, all in fun and games I guess? Take it easy on the car... Our transmissions aren't very forgiving with sudden power slams and neither is the price to repair it
