Pic of the 90 degree extension. I wish I would have gone with the 90 from the start, but I've heard of other people installing midpipes with no extension at all and not getting a cel.
I have a custom midpipe with removed resonators and the tanabe.
It is not too loud, but police can def hear me coming if I'm over 3k rpms.
Personally, I am not worried about sound decibels, but what I was more worried about was the men in blue. I have wasted so much time fighting nonsense tickets I never should have gotten that its ridiculous.
I find the exhaust setup I have now as quiet when I need it to be, and loud (but not obnoxious) when I want it to be. However, quiet is subjective.

Do you have a pic of your custom midpipe? Also why didn't you just go the easy route and just remove the resonator?

That's actually pretty much what I have done. Just removed the middle resonators before the last cat and welded a straight pipe from that section all the way to the stock cat..
