HID issues.
The passanger headlight on my 08 gs460 will only turn on for about 10 seconds before going out and staying out. while it is on the ballast buzzs quite loudly. drivers side is unaffected. any ideas?

Either a bad bulb or someone replaced the bulb with the wrong one.

only way to know for sure, swap the bulbs left and right and see what happens

yup! swap the bulbs to the other side. if the problem now switches sides, its a bad bulb. if the problem stays on the same side, its a bad ballast

Sounds like a bad ballast to me.

yup... sound like a bad ballast to me... bad bulb would just stay off or flicker

i changed the buld and no change. Can i wire in a genaric ballast? I can imagine the an oem on is to cheap.
