Default Help for your brake noise!

So I had the same issues as a lot of you guys; brake squealing, mainly coming from the front brakes. So I thought I would switch all 4 brake pads as my rotors were still in good shape. And sure enough still the same brake squeaks! So I asked my Lexus technician, what it could be. He brought it to his garage, and showed me the glazed, shiny rotor. This is the issue, if your brakes are squeaking, the main issue is the rotor! The brake on our Lexus models have some issue with it, and create a shiny layer that is basically like glass for the brakes and causes this noise. I took the rotors to my Oreily auto parts got them turned for about $30, and sure enough no squeaks! It's been about a month, and still no noise(knock on wood). But if you guys are having issues with the noise please try this. Good luck.

I got new Lexus rotors and Stoptech pads... no noise, no noticeable dust.

Hope that with my soon to be brake upgrade that I will not have any issues with noise. Going with the Stoptech pads and adamsrotors with double slot. Honestly though I have not really had any issues with stock up to this point. Fingers are corssed.

You'll love them UNDER 1 CONDITION... You HAVE to follow the bed-in/curing process stated by StopTech for the Street pads. If this process is not followed, the 2 will not live in harmony.

Default Same occurrence

Similar the original post, I took my 700h to Colorado, and the driver’s front started making a noticeable “hum” when under moderate braking. Never had that issue before. I’ve had squeaking brake noise when rotors are cold. Feels/sounds almost like something within the ABS, or just a harmonic vibration from that rotor in particular .
