I have done clear bra, the uneven mark on the hood sux. I want something last longer than 3 years. My cheap clear bra was pealing in 2 years and dirt was starting to get under there. I prefer doing the whole car to match but that 3M stuff is too expensive for me.

Gotcha - Im not using as a permanent fix, rather a temporary one. The spoiler will more that likely get painted as well as touch ups on the roof and the decklid this summer. needed something temporary to look at rather than that faded spoiler

it looks good. match well with the black alright. It's good up close too, it's not far from the black body.

Hello all!

This is the first time I am posting, and I also suffer from the fading spoiler epidemic on my Smokey Granite Mica. I will be having my spoiler resprayed in the next month or so, along with having my clear bra removed and reapplied with new material.

My car has had the clear bra since day one, and it has saved my front end from many years of chips and road debris damage. I think after 6+ years, it's just time for reapplication of the clear bra before it isn't removable.

Has anyone experienced any issues after removing their original clear bra's? My only worry is the paint coming off when removing it.

A experienced detailer should have no problem removing and re applying without incident

I am probably way over thinking the process. I know Lexus paint is by far... the best out there, but it still was in the back of my mind.
