Gs300 awd vs is250 awd
Hello.
I have never been in this forum before--Hello to the GS owners out there--I own an IS250 AWD right now and need something bigger for my growing family. (While I can fit two kids in the back on my IS, now with a third, I cannot swing it -- in emergencies).
Therefore I am looking at a GS-- I would like a GS350 AWD, but do not want to spend that much since I just bought the wife a brand new car.
Question--does the GS300 AWD have more power and take off quicker than the 250 AWD? I know the 0 to 60 numbers are very similiar but anyone have any first hand input? How is the acceleration with the GS--I hate how slow my 250 is off the line--
Any input appreciated, thanks!

I went from a IS250 2wd to a GS350 awd, its night and day difference between the two. The GS has more comfort, seats are comfy as opposed to the IS.
Power wise the GS350 is more powerful
I wouldn't go for a 300 but for a 350 to avoid the carbon build up issues. The same issues the 250's have!

That is the wife's new car! I just need something in case the van is in the shop or other emergency--the is just cannot do it while the gs can.
Thanks for carbon issue, did not realize it was same engine since the HP was different by 40 more in the GS

Its not the same engine, one is a 2.5 other is 3.0 but they both have are direct injection/direct injection. Meaning fuel doesn't spray on the valves. The fuel goes direct to the combustion chamber, leaving the valves prone to build up instead of the fuel spraying them.
Get the GS350!
