When changing out my summer tires for winter, I noticed I got excessive wear on two of my tires, so I figured an alignment was due. I took this chance and installed the tanabe NF210 on my 07 GS350 AWD and had the alignement done a week later. The technician said he did his best, and the result is shown in the attached file.
Can someone help me to understand the overall results in terms of what effect will this have on my tires, and what can be done to help this situation.
Camber and toe are the only two angles that cause tire wear. Caster and camber will cause a vehicle to pull and toe causes the steering wheel to be crooked.
This is how toe would be viewed if you were looking down on a car from the top.
/ \ This is positive toe
This is how camber would be viewed if you were looking at the car from the front.
/ \ This is negative camber
Thanks yrush,
My car is not pulling or anything. Should I be looking at the "camber" & "toe" values or the "cross camber" & "total toe" values?
How bad do these numbers look? I don't remember, but I think the technician said one of the cambers (either front or rear) cannot be adjusted.
