Default 2008 Gs460 dvd playing in motion question

Hi all,
I just got a 2008 Gs460 with Nav and ML, I wonder if I still can bypass the dvd player while driving like my previous 2006 gs430 by cutting and connecting some wires?

did you bypass your car yet, I just did some research, its can be done with a switch and dissable hand brake by connecting a wire to ground, just wonder how many of us did it, I have done it with my 2006 GS430, love the result, but its diff story with 08 I guess.
Btw, I live in Houston, how about you?

Nope, I haven't done it, but if you figure it out, I might have to ask you for a favor lol. I live in Katy, but work in Houston...small world.

Of course there's no 5th gen GS buddy. I was referring to the nav. You can clearly see the vid is showing the older version nav. Those secret buttons do not work on the new version nav so that was what im referring to.
