Ok, my question is can I purchase any TPMS sensor that matches the same criteria. I saw this on Ebay and was wondering if I could use the same one on my car. This looks similar to the ones I have on my car. I'm just curious if I could pay a whole lot cheaper than what Lexus wants.

The sensors in the second link will work on your car.
The reason the infiniti ones will not work is because their code system on their sensors uses 6 characters, where as toyota, lexus, scion, uses 7 characters..
In your second link, you can actually see the TPMS ID code on the sensor itself... i.e.a4073d4 is the id code of the one on top left in your second link...
The problem though with buying used is that you're not guaranteed that they are good sensors. They may not be broken, but if the sensor is dead, even reprogramming the tpms ecu with the new codes will cause a low tire light...
So while they would work on your car, make sure you know or have some guarantee that the sensors themselves work

Did you try the sensors in the 2nd link and did they work? I am trying to purchase 2 sensors for my car and am having a hard time find out which will work on a 3GS 06.
