Weird noise during acceleration
Hey guys just purchased a 2006 Lexus gs 300 AWD with 60000 miles. Very clean car in accidents. One problems, during mid/hard acceleration I hear this weird high pitch noise coming from the drive train or center console area. I'm planning in taking it to Lexus this week but I wanted to know if you guys are familiar with this at all. I don't think this noise is normal. Thanks

Dealer comments
Ok, so I took the car to the dealer and they said the car had a pipe welded in between the b pipe and the cat that's causing the noise. I did some research and the dealer stated the previous owner had the pipe installed because its a common problem because they rust on our cars. Is anyone familiar with this?
