So I have been having problems with my moon roof making a annoying rattle sound when I drive, the sound only comes when I either tilt the moon roof or when I close it completely. When I open it a little the sound cannot be heard anymore anyone have any ideas to what it is and how I can fix the problem? Thanks.

 

The rattle monster problem eh? I had the same problem when i bought the car. I tried and tried, but no resolution. Finally, took it to a local dealership and got it fixed for $300 (free loaner car). If I can find the work order receipt, i can elaborate what they did to fix the problem.

Could be your moon roof protecting cover....

 

I get the same noise. I believe it's the part that slides back and forth on the inside of the car. If you press on it while you are driving, the noise goes away.

 

I think I know what you mean, I had this issue before(if were talking about the same problem), but if we are then stick your fingers flat into the bed of the sunroof mechanism and just push it down gently, and its gone, mine comes back once in a while like 5 months and I just repeat it again lol.
