I have an 01 IS 300 and when crusin down the freeway going about 75-90 mph I get a weird sound coming from my moon roof. Do any of you guys know what that could be? This is a loud and it really bugs and does not sound when I have the moon roof up or open just when it is closed.

obviously you're gonna hate me to clarifying this, is the roof completely closed when it makes the sound? And you need to describe the sound a bit better. Do you have the cover closed as well?

what do you mean up or open?

did you try to push on the roof and see if it goes away?

did you try to close the shade? does it still sound bad?

i wonder if it's just a air leak. if so, you can get the dealer to adjust the roof to fix the leak

Even when the roof is closed it still makes the sound. I even tried to push on it and it still makes the noise. I am thinking as well that it might be an air leak, if so how do I go about getting it fixed from the dealer? Thanks once again.
