did anybody buy these D4S bulbs from this ebay seller yet? Is it legit or fake?

I got mine in yesterday and installed them all i can say is..Love them!

Just wanted to know if anybody purchased the same ones

 

i got mine from him as well.
no idea if they're legit but they def look real.

 

Don't think there's anything fake about them, just a bit surprised to see the base text saying not for US or Europe.
Made in Germany for the Japanese market? Japan drives on the right, like the UK/Ireland and some others.
That'd suggest they're for RHD vehicles, which doesn't make a lot of sense - you don't change bulbs when driving on the Continent, just adjust the lights to change the beam spread so as not to dazzle oncoming traffic.

Of course, it could be a simple ploy to mark grey imports out from officially imported ones, which would indicate the Japanese pay less for theirs.

 

The OEM 4300 is different than that shown in the pic. The little rod that go up to the top of the bulb, OEM is brown color.

 

Just ordered a pair, lets see how they turn out.

Ultinon is not for US market. Hence, they are not listed on usa.philips.com

These for OEM replacement seem cheap

 

These ebay ones less than 1/2 of actual cost are all FAKE.

Do a Google search Japan for the Philips ultinon you will find pictures showing the difference in terms of packaging and some labeling.

That said, these fake ones do look decent for the price.
