I currently have the Garax installed...they look great...I wanted the Ultinon though but they were so damn expensive!

Yes, a relay pretty much, and the flickering time is halted by a second or two..... HOWEVER, u don't need to really flash'em when ur light's as bright as a UFO take'over!

I seriously need to snap some pictures of the high-beams on one of these days during the dusky hours..... they're HOLY COW bright at night

Agreed, great bulbs, Philips make some legit stuff, but it still does not justify the price for them

I could tell you one thing that with 6000K for Ultinon is much brighter than 6000k Garax. Garax has too much blue output compare to Ultinon that only have a slight blue output. I mean buy which ever you're comfortable with. Both brand are great.

Gotcha, would you say 5000k garax = 6000k philips Ultinon?

You're definitely right about that! I seriously need to make a to-do list for myself, so that I can start doing what I claim I'll do since I always get preoccupied with LIFE..

i'm personally a fan of 5000k D4S HID Bulbs if you are looking to maintain light output but hate the yellowish tinge that the stock 4300k bulbs have. Here are some good comparison pictures:

ClubLexus members get a $20/bulb discount on our these bulbs by using coupon code CLGB08 upon checkout.

Having said all that, we also carry 4300k Phlips D4S bulbs, 6000k Philips Ultinon D4S bulbs, 6000k XenonDepot D4S bulbs, and 8000k XenonDepot D4S bulbs.
