Guys, I've been reading about this for a long...long time, also been frustrated.... All it took ... old piece of felt and 15 min of my time and after 4 years of owning the car - I'm happy.... yes, I went to the dealer 3 times, yes, I was b*****ing about how come?...but c'mon... you can do it. There are very good step by step instructions how to do it...just search. It is very simple.

 

Only rattles I have are from the inside door releases (both), the little black plastic plates behind each door pull. It comes and goes, most of the time they are quiet, no noise at all, even over bumps. But then sometimes one or both will rattle WITHOUT even going over bumps. You can tap on them with your fingertip and cause the rattle, seems Lexus should have put a bit of foam behind each one, that's all it would take.

So I took it in to Lexus, they opened them up and put them back and test drove and said problem fixed, although it might have been those quiet times since the noise still comes and goes although not loud nor That annoying...but they are still there.

 

I have a 2010 purchased new. It is now 2 years, 2 months old and I have never heard a rattle. Maybe they got them all fixed at the factory for this model year.
